I'm using the dynamic IP option in Orion but I've run into an issue. We've moved a few servers around that had DynamicIP enabled but the poller is not able to see them. Pinging from the poller with the friendly name results in the old IP showing with no response. Pinging with the FQDN shows the new IP assigned to the server and it responds fine. This was done from the main poller. When trying this from the APE the friendly name and FQDN both respond with the same IP so I don't think the APE is updating the IP address for the node but the main poller is the one that does it. Is there a way to force NPM to use the FQDN to resolve a node IP address when it is dynamic?
