I have an issue, actually more of an irritant with the manage views of NPM. So here goes. Every time I run NPM config wizard, it adds back items to the Node Details - Summary view. Specifically it adds back all the NCM resources. I have moved all those resources to a tab under the Node Details - Summary view that I called Config Mgmt. The reason I moved them is when these NCM resources are at the top level Node Details - Summary view, they cause that web page to take over 2 min to load. With this resources move to a sub view, the upper level Summary view will load in 15 sec. The other problem is that unless I remember to do this, the pages slow down and I don\t know about it until I start getting a chorus of user complaints. Not good.
Now I have been told in the past that this is a known bug and I should just make a copy of the Node Details - Summary view and use that instead. The problem with that is that the copy function under Manage Views doesn't actually copy every thing under the view. Specifically it leaves out all the left hand navigation tabs, which means I have to rebuild all the tabs I have on the original. Another bug
These particular bugs go back at leas 2 revisions and haven not been addressed yet. I would like the developers to actually address this. This is simply a request for the expected web page functionality to work consistently. I also would like the product manager to be advised of this issue since I can not rely on the normal process to get this some attention.
I have submitted a ticket to support, but obviously this is not something that is going to be addressed by regular support
