Hi all
I have a selection of "special" servers/devices that i monitor, and when one of them goes down i get an alert. This is currently achieved by using the "Basic Alert" setup program, where i go in and tick a box next to each device i want to monitor.
The problem is the interface and process of ticking the boxes for hundreds of nodes is a real pain. What i want to do is create a standard group in NPM, add the devices to it using the NPM web console which is much nicer, then just create an Advanced alert to alert when one device goes down from that group.
Currently it will only alert when every device in that group goes down, where i want an alert if only one device goes down. Is there any way to do this?
