Network Topology Mapper supersedes Network Atlas, your thoughts ?

If SolarWinds did decide to supersede Network Atlas with Advanced Network Topology Mapper (NTM), and become a powerful mapping desktop application for creating dynamic & custom maps using NTM schedule discovery and using Orion discovered inventory.

How much would you be willing to pay for upgrading to Advanced Network Topology Mapper ?

 

Current Network Atlas Features

  • Orion Managed node(s) map creation
  • Background Overlay
  • Device Stencil
  • Orion Node(s) Customization and alignment
  • Maps Drill down
  • UnDP on Maps
  • Link Status & Utilization on Maps (being worked at)

 

Current Network Topology Mapper Features

  • Dynamic mapping functionality
  • Export to Visio, PDF
  • Reporting
  • Identification & displaying of multi-links between nodes
  • Engineers Toolset integration with NTM Maps

 

Upgrade to Advanced Network Topology Mapper (NTM supersedes current Network Atlas)

  • Orion Managed node(s) map creation
  • Background Overlay
  • Improved NTM icons and Import user device stencils
  • Orion Node(s) Customization and alignment
  • Maps Drill down
  • UnDP on Maps
  • Link Status & Utilization on Maps (being worked at)
  • Dynamic mapping functionality
  • Export to Visio, PDF
  • Reporting
  • Identification & displaying of multi-links between nodes
  • Engineers Toolset integration with NTM Maps (achievable onto Orion Map resource)
  • Future enhancements - Switch port Mapping functionality
  • Future enhancements - Port Channel/ Link Aggregation identification functionality
  • Future enhancements - Others
