I opened a ticket to solarwinds to help me with SNMP polling not working on the cisco 881w CVO routers (C881W-A-CVO-K9) and they confirmed it appears to be an issue with cisco which I agree with. I think it is a bug with the hardware/software with this specific model. All attempts to snmpwalk many 881w-CVO routers fail, yet I can walk my 851 and 861 and non-CVO 881 units all day long.
Has anyone found a cisco IOS that works and returns SNMP polling on the CVO units?
I am currently using IOS "c800-universalk9-mz.SPA.152-4.M4.bin" and have tried several other releases forward and backward in several different trains with no luck. I will continue to work with cisco TAC but just hoping someone found a working IOS.
I am able to do a SNMPwalk and query one attribute at a time and get a result, example:
joeblows-MacBook-Pro:~ joeblow$ snmpwalk -v 2c -c SNMP_RO_STRING 192.168.132.65 sysName
SNMPv2-MIB::sysName.0 = STRING: minnesotta_router_hostname
