I was having issues with Orion NPM and found this KB article discussing possible causes:
SolarWinds Knowledge Base :: I am receiving errors in the Orion Web Console
Error: There was no endpoint listening at net.tcp://localhost:17777/SolarWinds/InformationService/Orion/ssl that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details.
I followed this link:
- You have created a custom property that has the same name as a reserved property. For more information, see the knowledge base article, "What words are reserved from use in custom properties?".
Wow - this is a huge list!!!
I am looking for clarification on what this means:
The following reserved words may not be used in custom properties:
Does this mean I can't create a new custom property with any of these works as the property name?
Or does it mean I can't use any of these words within an existing custom property field/value?
I had the word "temporary" in the comments field on one of my nodes.
As soon as I renamed it to 'temp' my website was restored.
As a matter of fact, users are now noticing a huge improvement in the Orion web page response time, even going so far as to call it "snappy" now.
I noticed pages render much faster now.
Please advise.
