Along with a very robust core NPM/SAM environment (14 pollers), I have additional pollers in a couple of DMZ's and remote locations. These locations are inaccessible to my core systems in any way (hence the additional pollers).
It just dawned on me yesterday (yeah, sometimes I'm a slow learner) that trigger actions like restarting services may not be work because alerts (and I'm presuming alert ACTIONS) run from the PRIMARY poller, not the additional. This seems especially true since APMServiceControl.exe isn't even present on the additional poller.
Can someone confirm for me whether that's a correct assumption?
