I need some advice and/or the right documentation to setup Avaya monitoring in Orion NPM. Is Solarwinds Avaya friendly? To start I am really not worried about VoIP traffic monitoring. I just want to get the MIB files right and get snmp working from all the Avaya applications. Specifically Communication Manager, System Manager, AES, Breeze, Officelinx etc. SNMP version 3 of course using Aura 7.x and 8.x. I need the descriptions right in the output to my NOC engineers as well. We need to be able to interpret the snmp data to see the maintenance objects and trap data with the tool easily if at all possible.
Has anyone deployed Solarwinds with a full Avaya solution before?
