V8R16 STIG L2 and L3 Infrastructure xml files sorted by severity levels

Has anyone created separate xml files for V8R16 STIG L2 and L3 Infrastructure sorted by severity levels; i.e  ALL NET NAMEs that are related to  CAT I, CAT II, and CAT III/IV severity?  Can this easily be done using the xml templates found on this site using an xml editor?  I've not attempted xml editing; however, am willing to create the 3 separate xml files per current V8R16 templates (L2 / L3 Infrastructure) if the possibilty exists to do so.
