We use AD groups for normal access to the NPM website and SolarWinds user accounts for admin access into the website for managing SolarWinds. Lately a problem has shown up, if you have access both ways and connect thru your AD group access first then logout and attempt to login with the SolarWinds account for admin access you get logged in but with the regular access through the AD group instead of the admin account you just used. If you start out with a fresh IE or FireFox window utilizing the nologin url and attempt the admin access then you are able to gain the elevated rights needed for managing SolarWinds. We have looked over the IIS settings and re-ran the configuration wizard on all servers in our SolarWinds setup but still haven't found a fix for it.
