Basic Inventory Report Needed

I used to manage older versions of NPM/NCM and it was a breeze. I'm in a new role in a new company and we're running current versions of code and it sucks....how on earth can I create a simple inventory report including device name and IP address? I also need to create a duplicate to just do inventory of one group we created. I miss the old server-side report writer.
