We have the case where occasionally one AP on a controller is flagged as 'down' in the database (an alert is genertaed) but we can't see events that indicate that this one AP has had any issues in logs
On occasion, we get a burst of errors where half (~740 out of ~1500 ) of the APs on a controller are flagged as 'down' for a polling cycle.
I've not opened a support case on this yet -- when I turned up logging on the wireless poller we wrote over 100MB in under 60 seconds, so being able to search the logfiles to troubleshoot this is going to be a challenge.
so, before I go opening a case I'd like to understand how this works to give me some pointers...
