Import new interfaces for existing nodes automatically

Ok,

I've gone through Thwack trying to find a straight answer but not having much luck.  So can someone help me? 

1) Does Solarwinds NPM 10.6 automatically detect new interfaces on existing nodes and begin polling them? 

     - If so what are the intervals and can you change those settings?

2) If its not automatic, how would I setup an automatic discovery process to find new interfaces and begin polling them automatically?  So example, we have a frame relay router and we are adding additional PVC's every day.  I don't want to have to "List Resources" on the specific node and then select all active interfaces.
