Hey all,
Let me preface this all by saying that this is *not* an issue with Orion or with the NOC view I have set up, but rather an issue with one machines ability to display it.
I have created a relatively basic NOC view with two screens that it cycles between. Each screen shows a map on the left side (different for each screen) and on the right it shows the current active and acknowledged alerts. The maps are set up to display the cached version of the image before showing the current data, for usability purposes. I intend to display this view on two kiosks that we have set up on our floor. These machines are fresh builds from an image, Windows 7 64bit.
On one kiosk, the view works admirably, as it does on my workstation. On the other kiosk however it rarely gets more than a couple cycles back and forth before Internet Explorer itself locks up. In this state the alerts on the right show up but the map on the left does not (cached or otherwise). If the mouse is clicked IE gets a status bar at the bottom that says "ServerName is not responding".
Any ideas? I'm at a loss as to why this particular kiosk is having issues, and am hoping that someone else might have some insight as to what I can try. So far I've updated IE (from 9 to 11), updated Java (from 7 x to 7 60), reset IE to all its defaults, and cleared its cache.
