Orion NPM 10.1.1
The physical VCenter machine has an SNMP RO of abcdef instead of public. My Domain userid has been added to the vCenter machine and I am able to sucessfully launch the VMWare Infrastructure client to that machine. I want to ADD this node to Orion. I do a single node add, specify the abcdef id for snmp, click test and it works. I then checkd the Poll for ESX box in the add node and used my userid and password (a Domain Account) and clicked test and it times out running the validate portion.
When I attached using the VMWare client I did receive some barks regarding certificates that I then clicked on ignore to finally have the vCenter information presented.
I enter my id without domain and with domain and the validation test times out.
The VM guests will all have a different SNMP RO. Am I still supposed to run a discovery to find all the individual VM's on the network??
