So, here's my issue.
I've gone out to the internet and found pictures of the equipment we use. I've edited those pictures to show what I need. I've copied and pasted said icons into Network Atlas. Alas...all works great. However, I soon discover new shiny things, like...new and better pictures....and the use of GIMP to minipulate these pictures. So of course...now I have better icons to use, and I want to get rid of the old ones. My first action was to use google. Because...you know...google is our friend. It points me to the thwack forums, where several threads have been made about this subject. They(they being the people/users/superheroes that answer the different threads) pasted several excerpts from the Network Atlas guide. So, I look through the guide....nothing in there that I could find...that they didn't paste already.
So, needless to say...the guide steps on how to delete these old icons isn't working...and I've tried all manner of stuff, but no joy. At this point...I'm very very frustrated with the program. Here's what I've done:
1) Followed the guide steps on how to delete the old icons.
2) Directly delete the files from the file location.
3) Delete the files, restart NA. (They show back up in the folder after NA loads up)
4) Delete the files, log off, log back in. Files are still gone. Load up NA, files come back.
5) Some other misc things...but I forget them exactly....I'm writing this the day after...I was at my breaking point with the program and I didn't want to write on the forums super ****** off.
So, ANNNNY help...even if it's just an idea....please...let me know.
