Upgrade from of NPM to latest build

Hi,

We have an NPM 10.2 and installed altogether with APM and NTA. However APM and NTA we're already discontinued and we opted to upgrade our NPM. Our concern is that we need to update the NPM to 10.4 but this build is not compatible to the NTA and APM build. Should I uninstall first the NTA and NTA prior to upgrading to the LATEST build? Or will it automatically delete the APM and NTA if I run the latest update?
