We virtualized and domain-joined our SAM server today; polling stopped and was repaired by replacing C:\ProgramData\Solarwinds\Collector\Data\PollingController.sdf file with the default one. However alerting seems to have stopped. Sending test emails from "Initial Alerting Setup" is working (somewhat), running "Test Fire Alert" does nothing on any of the alerts we have. Just no response of any kind - the logging area of the "Test Fire Alert" is empty.
I am assuming that since a test email does go through, this is not an issue with emails per se - but rather something got broken in SAM configuration.
How do I fix it?
