Good afternoon,
I'm trying to monitor my left shoe in SolarWinds, but I can't seem to ping it initially to get it added as an external node. I know once it's in I won't need to ping it to display, which is good since it's a shoe. Without dipping into generic loopback addresses, is there a way to add both it and my right shoe, as well as all the components of my grandmother's favorite tea set?
I'd also like to be able to add it all in bulk, if I can. Grandma really loves her tea.
(What I'm actually doing is slightly less absurd, but the principle's the same).
