Interface throughput wrong

I'm seeing a few instances where NPM is showing drastically in correct interface throughput.  In some cases, it's reporting different values for each end of the same link.

 

Here's a few screenshots:

This one is a fiber link between a Catalyst 6500 and a 2960X. The 2960X end is showing 340mbps (this is correct) while the 6500 end shows only 120mbps

In this example, I have a backup server running a large job that's nearly maxing out the interface. Windows task manager indicates 993mbps throughput (which is correct), but Orion is showing less than 100mbps on both the server interface and the switch port.

This is the same nic as reported by NPM:

Does anyone know what might be causing these huge discrepancies? I thought I might have a setting wrong somewhere related to interface counters, but I can't find anything like that.
