Te2/6/14 Receive Power Sensor on XXXXXXXXXXX is Warning
The Alerts and Hardware Monitoring events I get on many of my big Cisco Switches really clog the event log up... I hate the idea of turning hardware monitoring off but what causes these ten gig e to do this???
I've been told having fibers that are too short on 10 Gig E interfaces can cause this because 10 Gig E really like 20ft. + of fiber. Also that this can be fixed by putting an attenuator in the link. These alerts start to cause the can't see the forest for the trees problem after a while.
