IS-IS protocol monitoring on Solarwinds Maps

Hi,

We had this scenario where we shutdown ISIS routing on of our link. The interfaces were up/up, but they weren't routing any traffic. Essentially rendering this circuit to be unusable.
Our expectation is to have this should reflect the state of network service (up, down or marginal; including not carrying any traffic) on nodes and links in the map. This way our operation is aware of its true state and operate accordingly.
In such cases we want to have this link change the color something (Orange or Red) other than Green. (Mean something is not right with this link.)

Please advise of any and all options to achieve this.

We could think of two options,
1. Reflect protocol interface (ISIS, BGP or OSPF) status on physical interface status and link.
2. Associate no or limited traffic on the link to link status.
