World Map, Location field and Agent Polling

I seem to have encountered a possible issue for the World Map and its use of the SNMP Location field to auto-locate a node on the map.

It seems that when a node is changed from SNMP polling to Agent (and/or WMI?) polling, the Contact, Location and even the SysObjectID fields are blanked out in the Node Details resource:

Is this a known and expected behavior? Thanks.
