I have started with the default template that sends email alerts when a node is Down/Up and modified it. I've added Warning and Testing status alerts to it. The problem is that they aren't working correctly. When a Serial interface (such as a T1) goes down, the email alert does say Down. However, when an Ethernet interface (switch port) goes down, the alert just says Warning, instead of Down. Also, when the interface comes back up, the alert says Warning, instead of Up. The first part of the email alert is correct, as it does inform of Alert or Reset... but the status seems to only show Warning, and never Down or Up? I was hoping that someone may have a suggestion?
