SQL string showing in trigger condition selections rather than simple status

We’re having an issue with Advanced Alerts.  When we go to set the Trigger Condition of a selected alert, we don't see the normal description of Status in the drop down choices.  For example, if we want to set the trigger to alert on the status of a group, node, interface, etc., we set it to ‘is equal to’, but we don’t’ see the normal options to choose from.  Instead of seeing Down, Up, Unknown, etc., we see  a string of characters like this @{R=Core.Strings;K=StatusDesc_Down;E=xml}.  For setting Node status, we can tell the one that says StatusDesc_Down is the status for Down, however, for interfaces, it doesn’t have the descriptors in the string, so we can’t tell.  It’s an issue regardless of whether or not we can see the descriptors in the string because while you’re in the drop down box like the screenshot below, you can only see what part of the string says.  You have to select a particular string then click off of it to see the whole string to tell what the full string says.  We’d like to have it display like it should, so that the choices display as Up, Down, Unknown, etc instead of SQL strings.  Does anyone know of a solution for this?  We are running NPM version 11.0.1, but this has been happening for several years, through several previous version.  We contacted Solarwinds about it when the issue first appeared but they were stumped.  I'm hoping since it's been so long, someone will have a solution.  Thanks.
