Custom chart stops working after view limitation is applied

Hello all,

     I am currently dealing with an issue where a custom chart resource stops working when I apply a view limitation to the overall view. I am using the custom chart to display average CPU load for 3 nodes that are part of a dynamic group. The chart is able to display the information when the view has no limitations associated with it, but as soon as the limitation is applied it stops showing the data. The nodes I am using as a data resource for the custom chart are part of the group I use for the view limitation so in theory this should work just fine. Has anyone else experience this issue? Any information provided will be greatly appreciated.
