My problem is that some of the percent utilization values for a few interfaces are reaching values of over 6,000,000,000%.
This is obviously not right. At first I thought NPM was confused at what the interface speed was; somewhere along the line it was probably told the interface speed was much lower than it's supposed to be. However, after reviewing the custom bandwidth settings for these interfaces, the configured interface speed does not appear to be the issue. The people in charge of the SQL Server have yet to see if there are any issues on that end of things, but I don't think that's the issue.
Upon looking at the transmit and receive rates for these interfaces, it appears that the interfaces are receiving/transmitting up to 6x10^18 bps. Is this possible? Or is NPM somehow gathering incorrect information?
