Being an old SCOM guy, I'm not used to dealing with having to fix the product. But we are getting false positives whenever SNMP service restarts, or the status changes. Especially with network devices, and Nitro\McAfee devices. This feature is virtually useless at this point. I've read the articles that the support guys sent...again, since I actually read them BEFORE opening the ticket. At this point it seems easier to just disable that alert, but our SLA's demand a more proactive approach. Anyone have any advice, other than either disabling the alerts, or switching products?
