Hi,
I'm new to the thwack community and still a novice user of the solarwinds NPM.
I'm a network technician/engineer fresh out of college and I'm working for a health company. Here is my predicament:
At this organization we are upgrading existing equipment. Recently, we upgraded a single supervisor: ws-sup32-ge-3b in a 6506 chassis to dual vs-sup2t-10g. The interfaces we *were* monitoring were our uplinks to the cores (gig1/1, gig1/2.) I went in to NPM and changed my ports to be monitored to gig5/1/1, gig6/1/1 (both uplinks to cores just separate supervisors now along with cpu and memory. When I check the node, it lists 6/1/1 being monitored twice so it did not include gig5/1/1 (which happens to be the hot uplink and 6/1/1 is the standby uplink so this does me no good. I've deleted and re-selected these resources again and it keeps giving me the same problem. I attached a couple screenshots where I even unchecked gig6/1/1 and only selected gig5/1/1 and it still was only monitoring gig6/1/1. Has anyone experienced this before? Could possibly be a small bug? If anyone has any insight i would really appreciate it.
Thank you,
Eric
