I was configuring a new alert today and, like all good admins, I copied an existing alert to reduce my level of effort so I could spend more time trolling for Thwack points. As I was dutifully checking all of the tabs of the alert I noticed that the Alert Sharing tab, Alert Subject field did not update when I changed the General tab Name of Alert field. That was odd.
I check a few of our other alerts and noticed that a number of them did not match either.
Am I going to be logging some time updating the Alert Subject field on a whole bunch of alerts or should I not worry just yet? We don't use Alert Manager in our environment though we are expanding the use of the SDK -- just not specifically with alerting. (Yet?)
Thoughts?
