When my help desk wants to add notes to a specific “Down Node” Alert (which they have to do a lot) they login and click “Alerts” from the Main Menu:
From there they have to go to FILTER ALERTS and select "Notify me when a node goes down" from the drop down and refresh.
Ultimately it gives them only the down nodes:
Finally from this screen they can add notes to a specific down event:
My question is there a URL that automatically selects and applies the Filter "Notify me when a node goes down"? If there is I can modify the menu bar with that custom URL and save some steps. I know it doesnt seem like a big deal but this will save a lot of time and simplify things a bit for my users (plus on mobile devices it will be a big time saver if they can have a direct link to Alerts that are filtered by "Notify me when a node goes down").
Extra Credit (worth a generous Amazon Gift Card): I send out emails/texts of down devices. Can I insert a direct link into that email/text for that specific down event Alert's notes page? Similar to what I'm doing above?
