Parallel monitoring with 3rd party tools

How can monitor the Node on Orion NPM for ICMP / Polling response comparison with Orion .

You can install SolarWinds Engineer's toolset on Orion Server safely ( no reboot required can be ignored if prompted )

You can download the Free Version of Tool as below and install on multiple systems including Orion and monitor the Response Time from the effected Nodes.

install on Orion server skip the license using evaluation version .

You can then  add the effected Nodes to monitor within the Toolset to monitor parallel with NPM  .

Start > All programs > Solarwinds Engineer's Toolset >Classic Tools > Network Monitoring > Network Performance Monitor .

Add the Nodes there and leave the application running ( Closing the application will stop polling )

Add Node.

( Select All When Monitoring )

( Change the polling Settings )

( Change the same polling of effected Node in Orion NPM )

Filter the traffic on the NIC so only host traffic will be monitored rest will be ignored ( Very IMPORTANT )
