Hello Solarwinds people. Our NWS background image just quit displaying so we get a red background instead. On the server it's self I can get this http://radar.weather.gov/Conus/Loop/NatLoop_Small.gif in IE but in network atlas in the linked background dialog I get this

I am seeing memory resource being consumed a lot from past 2 weeks. When i m checking the task manager, i see 2 process are taking it. SWIS.exe and SoalrWinds Business Layer Host.
any suggestions on what action can be taken?
I get the following error In Network Atlas 1.0.5.26
Failed to lock map, map is in use by <user> on computer <computer> since <Date/Time>
The user had closed out of the map and is no longer using it, but no one can access it.
How do I unlock the map so it can be used again?

My navegation is to slow how to improve a best performance
we have the alert where if a node is down it will shoot an email to everyone on the list and once they go back online it will shoot another email to everyone saying its back on. Recently it occasionally will not shoot the email for it going back online or in a group of down alerts it will miss a couple of them. Anyone know why this could be happening?
When we upgraded to 11.5, one alert specifically has stood out so far with having some corruption. We have over 500 alerts so it is going to take quite some time to weed through them all. This one alert was triggering on an interface being down. What we once had was the ${NodeName} within the text of the alert notifications but found after the migration that it no longer worked. I found by replacing it with ${N=SwisEntity;M=Node.DisplayName} it now gives me the node of which the failed interface it on which is much needed when alerting on. I'm hoping that this may be an oversight in coding but feel attention needs to be brought to it as it concerns me about all the other alerts I and Nap have spent a GREAT deal of time in creating. This as well concerns me as I don't have any backup other than the db backup to go to look to compare to ensure that the converted alerts are converted correctly. Hey, I can remember most of the alerts I created but over 500 configurations, I'm not that good. Also in the Reset Condition tab of the Alert, it says The actual trigger condition: Trigger Alert when... I believe it should be Trigger RESET when. causes a bit less confusion as well as it's what causes the reset not the alert trigger. I'm sure I'll have more things to share and frustrations. I realize all can't be perfect but it has to come pretty darn close when our company relies on this software and my job security somewhat depends on it. Now back to finding what else could be jacked up with my baby (Orion).

Let's assume we use groups maintained on different ways - group of nodes, group of groups, group of nodes, interfaces and applications. they show up status on different way - some of them as "best of ..", some as "mixed status" - others as "worst of.." Has anybody an idea if there is a way to have displayed group status mode at goup tree list? I mean - which group is showing status at worst status of member and which shows mixed? I think it is not possible but maybe anybody got a tricky way to get it shown
I have some nodes that SNMP don't show any resources for when they have interfaces, and some nodes with interfaces with unknown states. By the way my nodes are Mikrotik routers. I checked all my SNMP configurations and my software versions, and all seem to be in order.

The title says it all. I created a web-based report, and it shows up under "Reports", but when I try to use it in a view, it does not show up in the drop-down list. In fact, I haven't gone to the trouble to verify this, but it looks like the only reports that are avaiable for selection are from the old Report Writer.
Please advise.

I have a Cisco 3030 VPN Concentrator (Altiga) with site-to-site and client VPN sessions. I want to use the Universal Device Poller to display a table showing the columns from the alActiveSessionTable (.1.3.6.1.4.1.3076.2.1.2.17.2), so I can see things like User Name, IP Address, Public IP Address, Login Time, etc. I can walk the MIB and see the entries in that table, but can't get the UnDP to display it all as a table.
Can this be done, and if so, how?
A while ago I had changed my alert rule for Interfaces to trigger from "Operational Status is equal to Down" to "Operational Status is not equal to Up" to catch all other bad conditions. The result is I get the false alert "Operational Status is Unknown" quite frequently on different devices. Upon quickly checking the devices' interface by snmp browsing, the interface status never changed to "unknown". The interface index did not change either. What am I doing wrong?

2) Orion Netflow Traffic Analyzer - SL2000-4.1.1
3) Orion Network Configuration Manager v7 - DL1000-7.4.0
4) Orion Network Performance Monitor SL2000-11.5.2
5) Orion IP Address Manager - IP16000-4.3.0
Since we just have basic idea and not familiar about that installation , configuration of SolarWind components , requesting below advice or documents (Component wise)-
-> Standard Pre-Requisite for all components (i.e hardware configuration, storage Space etc)
-> Standard Implementation plan for all components.
-> details of tcp/udp ports which need to be open for these components.
-> Devices identification or configuration process on Solar Wind post installation of each component.
-> recommended log retention period. etc
And at last, You can also add other critical / helpful details which you would like to share for smooth installation/configuration or operation of these component which I skipped to mention/ask here.

In my old job, we had a jumphost that we connected to gain access to our cisco devices, this is not the case here, since I can connect directly to the devices now.

I have a location with a Point to Point microwave connection. The radio is connected to Port 23 on my Cisco 3550 switch. I am monitoring the port for utilization but of course it is reading at 100Mbps, the radio connection is actually about 27Mbps. How can I change or monitor this interface with a more realistic bandwidth?

When I try generate the heatmap within atlas I get the following error "Failed to Poll Access Points / Reference Points" It was working yesterday. I don't know what to do to resolve this, can you help??
I have 4 pollers / 3 transforms setup up for monitoring a UPS at one of our locations as gauges in NPM.

They all worked at one point, but now 2 of them don't show any data.
I get the message "No pollers assigned or no statistic results. Click edit button to change universal device poller assignment!"
What am I missing here?

We are receiving an error when trying to use the network sonar discovery. "An error while processing results has occurred. See discovery log for more details."
Also tried to add the nodes by clicking the "results" tab and get the following error.
"ProvideFault failed, check fault information."
